The latest Star Wars film has been responsible for a boom in cinema ticket and merchandise sales. However, the porn industry is also enjoying the effects of the force, with DVD sales of Star Wars XXX increasing by 500 per cent since the beginning of December according to adult entertainment website GameLink.

The porn film, a parody of the Episode IV: A New Hope, was filmed in 2012. It is thought to have had one of the highest budgets ever for a porn movie – although the parody’s budget was doubtless a fraction of The Force Awakens estimated $200 million budget.

There is also rumoured to be a sequel to Star Wars XXX in the making called the Empire Strikes Back XXX, which will parody the second film in the original trilogy. It was originally due to be released in September, but according to movie website imdb.com will be released this month to coincide with the Star Wars-mania generated by the release of The Force Awakens.
The film repeatedly refers to itself as a parody or spoof in the trailer, to protect itself from Disney and Lucasfilm’s legal departments. George Lucas is famous for his vehement opposition to any Star Wars porn content, and Lucas Film company sent out several cease-and-desist letters to Star Wars fanzines that published pornographic "slash fiction" in the 1980s.

GameLink executive Jeff Dillon told Mashable: "The spike in sales for the parody is representative of a much larger trend of brand-specific merchandise for Star Wars, which shows the strong bond fans have with the movies. We began noticing a gradual increase in sales of the title at the beginning of November, but it wasn’t until the past two weeks that purchases of Star Wars XXX really skyrocketed."
There is an incredibly detailed review of the film by Comics Alliance. Apparently it's still better than the prequels, even though there is some Luke and Leia twincest.

Here is an un-sexy and safe for work version of the trailer.
